Within the detailed view of your event, you can see all the participants, get in touch with them and - should something unexpected happen - cancel the event.
Managing bookings for an event
- Make sure that you’re logged in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
- Click on Bookings in the left menu, then choose Schedule
- If slots for your event have been booked, you can click on View participant list here. You’ll then see the names and email addresses of your participants and the number of additional people they will bring with them
- Note that you’ll receive a notification email every time somebody books your event or cancels their booking
- If you’d like to get in touch with your participants to inform them about something, then click on the three dots (⋮) next to the event and choose Contact all participants
Cancelling an event
If you have to cancel an event, we recommend informing the participants about the reasons in a separate email and offering them alternative dates, resp. refunds in case participants have already paid. Proceed as described above to get in touch with the participants. You can cancel the event itself like this:
- Make sure that you’re logged in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
- Click on Bookings in the left menu
- In the Events tab, click on the three dots (⋮) next to the event that will be cancelled and choose Delete
- Read the security notice, then click the Delete button
- Done! Your event is now deleted and your participants will receive an automatically generated email
