A Jimdo Bio Page gives you one permanent page for your most important links, contact options, offers, and social profiles. You can share it in your social media bio, through messaging apps, or as a QR code. You can update its content whenever you like without changing the link.

What is a Bio Page?
A Bio Page is a single page that brings together your name, profile photo, a short description of what you do, and your most important links.
It has one permanent link that you can add to your Instagram or TikTok bio, your WhatsApp profile, or share as a QR code on printed materials.
When something changes in your business, simply update your Bio Page. The link stays the same.
Every Bio Page includes:
- a mobile optimized page hosted by Jimdo
- a hero section with your profile photo, name, and short bio
- link buttons that can point to any web address as well as your Jimdo Website and tools
- social media icons
- a Google Maps section if you want to show your location
- a legal footer with your Impressum and Privacy Policy
- a link and QR code for sharing
Bio Page is designed for self employed people and small businesses. It's especially useful if most of your customers find you through social media, messaging apps, or personal recommendations rather than through search.
You can use your Bio Page to:
- direct followers from your Instagram or TikTok bio to your current offers
- share one link for your bookings, shop, and contact options
- add a QR code to flyers, packaging, business cards, or your shop window
- give new customers one place to find your location and contact details
Creating your Bio Page
You can create your Bio Page in just a few minutes. You can create one while setting up your Jimdo account or later from your dashboard home screen.
If you don't have a Jimdo website
You don't need a Jimdo website to create a Bio Page. You can create your Bio Page on its own without building a full website first.
- Enter your basic details, including your name and a profile photo.
- Describe what you do and what you offer.
- Jimdo prepares a first version of your page based on your description. This includes a suggested tagline, a matching cover image, and suggested links and buttons.
- Edit and style your page. You can change the text, colors, fonts, buttons, and layout.
- Save and share your Bio Page. You'll get a live link and a QR code that you can share straight away.
You can change everything Jimdo suggests. Think of the first version as a starting point for your Bio Page.
If you already have a Jimdo website
If you already have a Jimdo website, your Bio Page is pre-filled with content from your website.
Jimdo will add:
- a profile image chosen from your logo, homepage images, or favicon
- the social media profiles connected to your website
- up to five of your most recent booking events that are published on your website
- up to five of your most recent products that are in stock in your store
- a link to your website
- links to your Action Pages
Check each item and edit or remove anything you don't want to show on your Bio Page. When you're happy with the result, save and share your page.
Customizing your Bio Page
You can customize the layout and appearance of your Bio Page to match your business.
Choose a template
You can choose from six templates. Each template changes the layout and overall style of your Bio Page.
You can change your template, layout, and colors again later.
Change colors, fonts, and buttons
In the appearance settings, you can change:
- colors
- fonts
- button style
If you also have a Jimdo website
Your Bio Page and Jimdo website share the same color palette.
Your website's main color is automatically applied to your Bio Page. You can select another color from your existing palette without changing anything on your website.
Good to know: If you edit the colors in the palette itself, the change also applies to your Jimdo website. Jimdo shows you a warning before this happens, so you'll know when a change affects both.
Publishing and sharing your Bio Page
When you're ready to publish your Bio Page, click Save and continue.
Your Bio Page then goes live at its own address.
Your link and QR code
After publishing, you'll get:
- a link to your Bio Page
- a QR code that points to the same page
You can update your Bio Page whenever you like. Your link and QR code stay the same, so you don't need to share a new one when your content changes.
Where can I share my Bio Page?
You can share your Bio Page through:
- your Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn bio
- your WhatsApp profile, status, or direct messages
- social media stories and posts
- emails and your email signature
- your Jimdo website and other social profiles
- a QR code on flyers, packaging, business cards, or your shop window
Editing your Bio Page
You can update your Bio Page at any time, including after you've published it.
Open your Bio Page from your dashboard to edit:
- your name, profile photo, and bio
- your link buttons
- the order of your buttons
- your social media icons
- your Google Maps section
- your template and appearance settings
You can add, edit, reorder, or remove your link buttons whenever you need to.
Publishing your changes
After making changes, click Save and continue to publish them.
Note: Your changes only become visible after you save them. Until then, visitors continue to see the previous version of your Bio Page.
If you've saved your changes but still see the previous version, refresh the page in your browser.
Your Bio Page address and paid options
On the free plan
Your Bio Page receives a Jimdo address in the following format:
yourname.jim.do/bio
The free address is set when your Bio Page is created and can't be changed afterwards.
If you want to use a different address, you'll need a paid plan that includes your own domain.
On a paid plan
With a paid Jimdo plan, you also get:
- your own custom domain for your Bio Page
- unlimited Action Pages
- more detailed statistics
Checking your Bio Page statistics
You can check the total number of views and clicks your Bio Page receives from your dashboard.
- Log in to your Jimdo account.
- Open your Bio Page from the dashboard.
At the moment, you can see the total number of clicks on your Bio Page, but not the number of clicks for each individual button.
Impressum, Privacy Policy, and cookies
Every Bio Page includes a legal footer with an Impressum and a Privacy Policy page.
If you also have a Jimdo website, your legal pages and cookie banner settings are shared.
You only need to edit the legal text once in your Jimdo website settings. The changes then apply to your website, Bio Page, and Action Pages.
