How do I copy a block?

You don’t have to add a new block if you’d like to reuse a certain block on your website. Instead, you can just copy it.

Copying a block and pasting it anywhere on your website

If you'd like to copy and paste your block into another page, proceed as follows: 

1. Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
2. Click Edit Website to enter your Jimdo website’s edit mode
3. Hover your mouse cursor over the block you’d like to copy and click the document icon (Copy)
4. Now hover your mouse cursor over the position in the content area where you'd like the block to appear and click Paste – this can be repeated with no further copying required

Duplicating a block on the same page

1. Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
2. Click Edit Website to enter your Jimdo website’s edit mode
3. Hover your mouse cursor over the block you’d like to copy and click on the three dots (⋮)
4. Click on the two pages icon (Duplicate)
5. The copied block appears beneath the original one

Using the arrow icons, you can move your block to the correct position.
