When visitors go to your website, and use the contact form or make a purchase through your online store, the information they provide—including email addresses and phone numbers—is stored in your dashboard.
To maximize the potential of this data, you can enable the marketing consent on both contact and order forms. By doing so, you ensure that your visitors explicitly agree to receive email newsletters from you. This step is crucial, allowing you to keep them informed, for instance, about exciting new products available in your store.
Activating the checkbox for contact and order forms
- Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
- Go to the menu on the left, and click on Contacts > Contact list
- Toggle the button underneath Grow your customer base
Whether you have activated the marketing consent option or not, you’ll always find a list of all your contacts under Contacts > Contact list.
