Note on special characters
We recommend avoiding special characters (å, ü, ñ, á, etc.) when registering a domain. Any domain with special characters will be converted to "Punycode". This means that all special characters are normalized by converting them into the ASCII set, which is limited to 128 characters (Latin alphabet, numbers, and punctuation marks)
-
- For example, tëstwébsite.com will be converted to xn--tstwbsite-e4as.com
You can register or transfer your own custom domain if you're using a Jimdo premium plan.
