How do I remove the color filter from my cover block?

To ensure readability, your Jimdo website automatically places a color filter on your cover block. By hiding text and buttons, you can remove the color filter from your image.

Hiding text and buttons

1. Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
2. Click Edit website to enter your Jimdo website’s edit mode
3. Click the eye icon (Show elements) next to your cover block
4. Remove the checkmarks next to Text, Primary button and Secondary button

Now, your cover image appears without any color filter. Images placed here will come into full effect.
