If you are unsure about the right size of the images to upload to your Jimdo website, then explore the essential image specifications below.

Favicon

Choose between 16×16 or 32×32 pixels

Maximum width 240 pixels, and minimum height of 40 pixels

Recommended image dimensions:	1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD resolution) and 72 DPI
Minimum image size:	There is no minimum size, but please note that too small images can negatively affect quality. When you upload an image, our system automatically adjusts the dimensions to fit the screen size. This optimization ensures fast loading and improves overall website performance.
Maximum file size:	20 MB at a time
Image formats:	jpeg jpg gif (max. 50 megapixels) png bmp vnd.microsoft.icon x-icon ico icon
Dots per inch (DPI):	We recommend 72 DPI. For downloadable print images, we suggest using the file-download function.
Note on calculating megapixels for GIFs: To calculate the megapixels of your GIF, multiply its width and height in pixels by the number of frames in the GIF, then divide the result by 1,000,000. Example: A GIF with 800 × 600 pixels and 100 frames equals 800 × 600 × 100 = 48,000,000 pixels = 48 megapixels. How to find the number of frames: Open the GIF in an image editor like Photoshop or GIMP – the number of frames will be displayed there. Alternatively, you can use online tools like ezgif.com to upload the GIF and display all frames.
