Email address for your form
By default, form submissions will be sent to your primary email address, which is set as your contact email in your Jimdo account. You can review this in your settings to confirm where you'd like to receive form responses. Please note that the email address used for receiving form submissions cannot be changed at this time. -
Personalize your automated email reply to customers
With this setting, you can customize the automated response email that your customers receive after submitting a form. You can add a personal touch by thanking them for reaching out or providing additional information on how to stay in contact with you. A well-crafted automated response conveys professionalism and appreciation, contributing to a positive customer experience. -
Edit Consent Text (only available without the Legal Text Generator)
The consent text appears before the user submits your form and provides crucial information regarding the use of their data. You can customize this text to ensure that all necessary legal information is included and that users understand how their data will be used. This setting is particularly relevant to comply with data protection regulations such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and to build user trust.
How to Access the Settings?
- Sign in to your Jimdo account and choose the website you want to edit.
- Navigate to the Smart Forms section in the menu on the left side of your dashboard.
- Locate the form you wish to modify and select Edit next to it.
- Once you're in the form editor, go to the Settings tab
- Within the Settings tab, you can adjust the form’s settings as needed. After making your changes, scroll down and click Save to confirm. If the form is already published, the updates will automatically be applied to your website.
