Do you want to decide when your events can be booked or add a deadline for your customers to cancel? With our Bookings feature, you have full control over bookings and cancellation limits! You can easily set deadlines to make sure your customers can book and cancel at the right time.
Modifying booking deadlines
Follow these simple steps to add and edit your booking deadlines:
- Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
- Click on Bookings on the left and then on Settings
- Click on Bookings and cancellation limits to expand the options. Here, you will be able to:
Add or edit opening and closing deadlines
Use this option to set a deadline for opening and closing bookings. Follow these steps to add or edit your deadlines:
- Go to Choose when to open and close online bookings before the appointment time. Here you will be able to set a deadline for:

- Open online bookings: Decide when your customers can start booking
- Close online bookings: Decide until when your customers can book a service or event

- Enter directly the amount or use the plus (+) or minus icons (-) to modify it
- Choose between hours, days or weeks
- Click on Confirm to save the changes
Note: Your customers will only see the available time slots between the opening and closing deadlines.
Add or edit a cancellation deadline
Use this option to set a deadline for cancelling a booking. Follow these steps to add or edit your deadlines:
- Go to Add a deadline for online cancellations
- Enter directly the amount or use the plus (+) or minus icons (-) to modify it
- Choose between hours, days or weeks
- Click on Confirm to save the changes
Note: Once the cancellation deadline has expired, your customers won't be able to cancel their booking directly from the link in the confirmation email.
