This article explains how to use Bookings at Jimdo, including how timezones work and how they affect your availability and bookings.
Bookings
You create only events. You decide how customers can book each event.
Visitors always see available time slots in their own local timezone. Booking confirmations also show the time in the customer’s timezone.
Different customers may see different times depending on their location. This is expected behavior.
Merchant confirmation emails follow the language set in your account. Customer emails continue to use the language of your website.
If you see emails in a different language than your customers, this is expected behavior and works by design.
ℹ️ Important: If you sell bookings, legal requirements apply. Our article Set up bookings in a legally compliant way walks you through everything step by step.
