You’d be happy to know that we take care of the biggest and most important SEO settings for your Jimdo website. However, there are some things that you need to adjust.
Make changes
To make changes to your SEO, please:
- Log in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website
- Click Edit Website to enter your Jimdo website’s edit mode
- You will see the Website Builder Menu on the left. Click on SEO to go to your SEO settings
- Scroll down to the SEO titles section to update your Homepage title and the Website title
- Below these titles, you can also add a Website description. This short and compelling summary appears in Google search results under your title. Use relevant search terms and keep it around 150 to 160 characters so it is displayed in full.
- If you’d like, you can also add Website keywords that fit in with the topic of your website
- Add alternative text to your images
