The improved bookings checkout introduces a cleaner and simpler design for the final steps of your booking process. Only the appearance has changed. Your services, prices, booking flow, and settings remain exactly the same.
Availability of the improved checkout
This update is available to selected accounts only. Not all Jimdo users will see it.
If your account is included in the rollout, the new checkout is already active.
You can preview it on your website and switch back to the previous version at any time.
What changed
The final steps your clients go through when booking now have a cleaner and more streamlined design.
Nothing else has changed: Your services, prices, booking steps and settings remain the same.
Important: Your clients will not see any Beta label. This label is only visible to you in your booking settings.
How to see your new checkout
To view the updated checkout:
- Open the booking page on your own website
- What you see there is exactly what your clients will see.
How to switch back to the previous checkout
You can revert to the previous checkout at any time:
- Go to Bookings in your Jimdo dashboard
- Click Settings
- Find Improved bookings checkout [Beta]
- Turn the option off
Your website will switch back immediately.
You can re-enable the new checkout anytime in the same place.
Note: Switching between versions does not affect your existing bookings. All confirmed appointments remain unchanged.

Will switching affect my existing bookings?
No. Changing the checkout only affects the design. All confirmed bookings remain unchanged.
Why don’t I see the Beta option in my settings?
The improved checkout is being rolled out gradually. If you don’t see the option yet, your account is not included in the current rollout group.
