Within the detailed view of your bookings, you can see all participants, contact them, and cancel a booking if something unexpected comes up. Depending on which Bookings version you are using, the steps differ slightly.
How to know which Bookings version you are using
Jimdo offers an old and a new Bookings version. Which version you have depends on when you ordered Bookings.
Managing bookings in the old Bookings version
In the old Bookings version, you manage bookings centrally via the schedule overview.
- Make sure that you’re logged in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website .
- Click on Bookings in the left menu, then choose Schedule.
- If slots for your event have been booked, click on View participant list. You will see the names, email addresses, and the number of additional people.
- Participants of services are listed individually.
- You will receive a notification email every time a booking is made or cancelled.
- To contact participants, click on the three dots (⋮) next to the event and choose Contact all participants.
- Email addresses for service bookings are shown directly below each booking.
Managing bookings in the new Bookings version
In the new Bookings version, you can find your appointments directly in the left menu under Bookings.
Click on the appointment you want to manage. A details panel opens on the right.
Use the blue Contact all attendees button to email everyone who booked this appointment.
Cancelling an event or service in the old Bookings version
If you need to cancel an event or service, we recommend informing participants by email first and offering alternative dates or refunds if applicable.
- Make sure that you’re logged in to your Jimdo account and choose the desired website .
- Click on Bookings in the left menu and choose Schedule.
- Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the event or service and select Cancel date / Cancel appointment.
- The appointment is deleted and an automatic email is sent to all participants.
Cancelling an appointment in the new Bookings version
Open the appointment via Bookings > Schedule in the left menu. In the details panel on the right, you’ll find a three dots (⋮) menu next to the blue Contact all button.
Select Remove appointment to delete it. All participants will be notified automatically.
