Important information about migration
If you are currently using the old version of Bookings, you will soon be automatically migrated to the new version. You do not need to prepare or activate anything.

What is the AI Booking Assistant
The AI Booking Assistant guides your visitors step by step through a chat based appointment booking.
Instead of filling out a traditional booking form, visitors answer questions in a conversation. Once all required information has been collected, the appointment is created automatically.
This feature is only available in the new version of Bookings.
Is the AI Booking Assistant enabled automatically
Yes. As soon as you add a booking block to your website, the AI Booking Assistant is enabled by default.
The booking chat appears automatically on your website unless you manually disable it.
How to disable the AI Booking Assistant
You can turn off the AI Booking Assistant at any time in your website settings.
- Log in to your Jimdo account
- Select the website for which you want to change the setting
- Click Website Builder on the left > Settings and open the General tab
- Turn off the toggle next to AI Booking Assistant
Once disabled, the booking chat will no longer appear. Your visitors will use the standard booking interface instead.
What happens when you disable it
Disabling the feature only removes the chat interface.
Your booking calendar as well as all existing events and appointment options remain active and fully functional.
You can reactivate the AI Booking Assistant at any time under Website Builder > Settings > General > AI Booking Assistant.
